Translating the art and science of shepherding to a western united states context…

Fibershed's research team Brittany Cole Bush & Guido Frosini present their journey exploring the schools that train the next generation of modern-day graziers in the Basque Country, French Alps, Great Pyrenees, Southern France and Catalonia.

In this report and webinar presentation, BCB presents the findings summarizing their research and experiences from this grand pastoral exploration.

The objective of sharing their findings is to ignite conversation to invite participation and further connectivity between those interested in the development of a vocational training program for new and old graziers as “ecological doctors” in the United States.
